Yeah I was very glad, but why does he say “this is a state’s rights issue.” It’s NOT a state’s rights issue. It is an individual rights issue and a civil rights issue.

Simple as that…The Federal government can acknowledge the fact that all
the citizens should be afforded the right to marry..but we do NOT issue Federal licenses..
The Federal government controls us too much as it is..

Laws governing marriage have historically been reserved to the states, as have election laws.
