Just last month I won a round-trip ticket on the Boston fast ferry to Ptown! I thought I would use it to come down to see your show in August, but due to logistics am now driving down with my partner to do that… so will do a solo trip with the ticket later before the ferry stops for the Fall.

Pretty sure it was about 26 years ago that I won a prize at an annual union BBQ. Now that I’m thinking about it, I never met anyone who won anything big in a contest. Well, except for some friends of mine who won a canoe, because I entered them in a contest at the supermarket.

About 15 years ago. I went to a dealer to look at cars, wrote my name on a little slip of paper and stuck it in a box for a gas grill giveaway. Surprised as a bunny in headlights that I won. Gave it to my parents.

42 years ago when at a local fair I won the girls competition prize for hammering a nail into a piece of wood!! But I do take lottery tkts and have never won a penny!

I won a groovy polaroid land camera in the early seventies, on a local radio show in a game called “Bet your sweet bippy” I took a lot of pictures for a couple of years – It was the kind of camera that once you shot the picture, you ripped off the backing of the picture that shot out of the camera, and then watched it slowly develop right before your very eyes. I think I traded it for some pot a few years later.

Two years ago…I flirted and romanced this woman who ignored me until one day I WON her over!!…she in turn stole my heart, but then again I was very willing to give it away!!! She has been the best suPRIZE of my life!!
