organization – the closet, drawers, the office, bordering on OCD but it makes me happy.

It would be gardening for me. Seeing perennials come back in the spring, as well as planting annuals and seeing them bloom throughout the summer.

What’s my job-well-done pleasure? Ironing out the wrinkles of the day with a climax! Guess I don’t have to spell out what I love to do. hehehe…

I love to organize. My closets, my office, my business, the kitchen, events…order throughout my home and work, to me, is a reflection of the order in my mind and my life overall. Creating systems makes me feel accomplished and relaxed and allows me to sit back and know things are where and as they should be. all is right with the world, or at least in my little one.
p.s…your shirts always appear sharply ironed…much like your wit.

I love to iron too. I especially love heavily starched clothing. I just bought a new iron…the most exciting thing…it has more than 400 steam vents…it’s an iron and facial all in one!

Dishes! I really like to lose myself in the mindless task of hand-washing the dishes. When it’s all over and the dish drainer is piled high I know I’ve accomplished something (not to mention solving all the world’s problems). Now if I can just train the cat to put them away when they’re dry all will be right in my world!

Hmmm, I love the way the yard looks when I’m done mowing, blowing, sweeping, trimming, etc. And I’ve lost 5 pounds from just the sweating alone!

Finishing a quilt is the best sense of accomplishment, especially if I’m getting paid. 😉 It’s even better if my house is clean, too, though it could usually use more work.

I have to say, while ironing is in the top five (I do it while watching a movie to stay awake), gardening and mowing are sublime. It’s as good as organizing a closet, seeing the lined rows of grass…the edged perennial/rock garden and the sunflowers all turned to greet their namesake. Ahhhh…all while sipping a glass of well deserved wine….another great pastime.

I like to vacuum. It scares the cat.

I work in the ER. I like to be able to start IV’s on the first try on patients who say, “No one can ever get my IV on the first try.”
