I love to stay right here in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is beautiful, we have many wonderful activities during the Winter and so many great people come here for ‘their’ vacation…and it is terrific to meet them.

This TN girl has been traveling to LA (Santa Monica, to be exact)for the last few winters for some much needed Venice Beach bacchanalia. There’s nothing quite like a New Year’s day walk on Santa Monica Pier! Not to slight the East Coast, my number 2 destination is Key West. Big shout out to Pearl’s Girls. They know how to make a lesbian welcome!

Yelapa, MX. It is on the mainland just south of P. Vallarta, but a boat is required to get there — no roads. The weather is amazing, and you can stay in a pelapa — a thatched roof construction hut. Go to Yelapa.info

The Highlands Inn in Bethlehem, NH: close, beautiful at any season, quiet, great restaurants, gracious hostesses. All the rooms are different, and the inn was remodeled by the owner. Gorgeous! Relaxing! Perfect place!

Tucson, AZ Gem and Mineral show! If you like looking at beautiful geological objects from nature this is the event!
I think the city will need the uplift this year. The weather isn’t bad either.
