K8T Asks: What's your dream Thanksgiving guestlist?
Kate wants to hear from you! The next question of the week, straight from Kate, is: If you could plan your perfect Thanksgiving dinner party guests – say 8 of them at the table – who would you invite? if you want, they can be resurrected for the evening.

Dear Kate,
It is hard to choose as there are so many wonderful people that would make a great guest. So, I narrowed it down as much as I could. Besides myself and my leading lady, my dream dinner guests would include the following people that I find intriguing, beautiful, strong, and inspirational.
Kate Clinton, Bette Midler, Shirley MacLaine, Kathleen Madigan, Oprah Winfrey, Maya Angelou, my friend Laura (for some history), Laura’s partner Angela, and Jennifer Beals – just so I could look at her for a couple of hours. (Okay, it is more than eight, but I have a long table)
Aaaaah, what a wonderful evening it would be. I am going to start visualizing the evening now!
Warm regards,
Alicia

Hi:
I would take a different view and have eight of my late relatives, including my Mom, Dad, Uncle Charlie, Uncle Joe and Aunt Angie around me and we could speak as we did when I was a little girl and time was a friend rather than an enemy.
My greatest gift for Christmas would be just a few extra hours of time with them.
Best Wishes,
Carla
