Not a Christmas or Hanukkah present, but the best present I ever gave was the gift of a longer life when I donated my kidney.

The best gift I ever gave was creating “a forever family”, with my wife, for the two children we adopted…it’s the gift that keeps on giving!

I had an artist friend of mine paint my dearest friends elderly dog, and then framed it beautifully…Our pets are our children and it’s so hard to let them go at the end of their lives! My friend had done the same thing for me, and it’s one of my dearest treasurs…and on top of it I’m supporting an independent artist! Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Felize Navidad, Happy Kawanza!! “LOVE HEALS EVERY BODY”!! Thank you for what you do for all of us!

A young friend of mine was obsessed with nuns (which I found fascinating, considering that she was raised Jehovas Witness), so using black and white foam core, I created the upper part of a habit that had a mirror where her face would be. It survived numerous moves throughout the 5 Burroughs but met its match in Hurricane Sandy. According to her it is for all time the Best Gift Ever.

1) Rain storm last week, was in Goodwill, homeless man desperate for warm clothes, wet, broke.
Was 50% off.
I bought Rain jacket, long underwear shirt and a pullover… anonymously.
Had employee give him paid bag.
Wish I could cloth all with needs.
2) gave my x an ash tray that said BITCH
