Boy/Girl/Boy/Girl seating at dinner parties and the need for gender equal numbers at such events (gender equality?!)with a priority being given to straight couples – so my (female) partner and I (who are civil partnered in the UK) being seated with the singles at a wedding…
BTW, saw your hilarious (and punchy) TED talk on After Ellen nominated as one of the 6 most inspiring queer themed TED talks – http://www.afterellen.com/the-6-best-lesbian-themed-ted-talks/12/2013/. And that’s me given an honourable mention right at the end…

p.s. gay marriage-I get it AND I don’t exactly get it on a deeper level. If they’d told us at gay pride1978 that in the 2000 gay agenda we’d be fighting to get IN the military and get married, we’d have thrown down our placards and gone home. the revolution turned out to be 2 white wedding dresses.

Mike: I don’t know anything about all this fake clapping
you’ve been doing. In 2014 I encourage you to be a
maverick and be an honest clapper. If you’ve just sat
through a crappy performance (that you’ve paid for), I
encourage you to engage in some enthusiastic booing
and arm-waving (Apollo-style).
