Inger Stevens on “The Farmer’s Daughter” She played a housekeeper to a widowed congressman and his two sons…I was four years old and in love. Runner-up, Miss Louise on Romper Room. I would sit as close as possible to the TV screen ( risking blindness ) just to be close to her.
