Yes, I do keep a diary. I have kept one since January 1, 1980, and I write in it every day.

I kept a diary since I was about 7-8 yrs old and until I was about 25 yrs old. I still have all the old diaries- yikes who wants to risk throwing them away only for them to be found and used against us. Lol.
Now adays we don’t diary, we blog. And frankly, who needs to keep a diary. Just check your history on your computer, or check your facebook posts or even your own cell phone Instant messages.
We have gone electronic. Diarys = blog.

I have kept a diary/journal since I was about 7 and received one as a gift. At 52, I write a journal/diary… about 3 pages most mornings before I start the day. This regiment was somewhat instilled from going through “The Artist’s Way” by Julia Cameron. It has been a great source of healing and helped me to see beneath or further then the problems or situations that surround my relationships with friends and family. A good sounding board to order my thoughts and begin my day.

I do keep a journal…mostly on the weekends, when I travel or receive travelers. It’s a great way to be able to recall people and events. Especially as time marches on and the memory does not come with me. Even looking back at just two weeks ago when I was in Ptown, brings back fond moments, like seeing you at the Crown and Anchor Kate.

Every day. I started when I did a lot of traveling and couldn’t remember what I saw and where I saw it. That was year and eyars ago. Now I have a shelf of journals as well as the computer log. And now I wonder what I’m going to do with them.

Not anymore as I found my ruminations to be whiney & immature. So I decided to stop living inside my head & use my gut more in real life. Intuition is a fascinating tool when we decide to make use of it!
