“All the way to Heaven” by Melissa Etheridge. When she sings the line “cotton candy fingers and a snow cone mouth” an involuntary smile spreads across my face…no matter what!

“Your Never to Old to Be Young”, composed and performed by Zoe Lewis. This song is in our film “Sappho’s Fire” a documentary by Alexia Kosmider and Deborah Monuteaux. It’s about aging lesbian’s and the journey that all of must travel and often don’t want to face, the inevitable end of one journey. We exam the way older lesbians face this part of there lives and we were surprised with what we discovered. The films speaks to all of us as we all must grow older and we think the film provides wisdom and offers courage about the process of growing older. The women are both emotional and humorous. We were sold out at the Boston LGBT Film Festival and recently accepted in the Rhode Island International Film Festival. If you have time, check out our website; http://www.shiftingvisions.com.
