…..so my middle name, interestingly enough is Glee…. it was my grandmothers name and that is why it was chosen. Kind of fits the whole party thing! Cheers, Mary

Yes, I do, it’s “Jubie” and according to my mother, my older sisters couldn’t say “Jewell” when they were little, so I was “jewjew” and somehow “Jubie” came out of all that. My mother still knows each of us by what I call our “hooker” names, or her pet names for each of us. “JeanBean”, “Jezebel”, “Kookoo” (that’s me), “Ah-tine”, and “TurdBird”. Beyond that, I’ve been called “Jubileedoo” , “JuJu”, and “Jubster”. It’s a wonder I know what to answer to….

My middle name is Colleen. Apparently, so the story goes, my mother was a fan of Colleen Dewhurst. I loved her acting, so it’s good with me.

I have a sort of middle name – Anne. Technically, it is the second part of my hyphenated first name, but I always go by the first part of my name. Anne is apparently a form of Agnes, which was my mother’s first name. I am eternally grateful she went for the shorter version.

Gail (the “G” in DeeG)was the name of my mother’s OB doctor. Apparently they were very fond of each other..just glad her OB wasn’t named Clyde or Chester.

“Gray.” It was my non-blood-relative-great-grandfather’s middle name. His full name was Dempsey Gray Jordan, and I loved him to pieces. He let me put Vitalis in his thick, silver mane and comb it like Elvis Presley’s. He also introduced me to baseball, and I have been an addict ever since. To this day, I use the initial “G” in my signature to honor him.
Now, if only my parents had been more creative than “Judy…”

I was not born with a middle name so when I was about ten I gave myself the middle name of “Danger” to kind of beef myself up! I also decided to include it on my passport application around that time. My supporting documents were in Greek and English so even though Danger wasn’t on any of the documents they included it on my passport anyway. Now, I get raised eyebrows and scowls sometimes when I travel from the customs officers. It is kind of like a bad tattoo…

Celeste. She was my mom’s best friend in the first grade. I guess she lived the the gas company houses which were pretty crappy. The rest of the story is pretty sad.
The addition of Celeste to Brittany has given me not only a really long ass name but one that looks good in cursive. Sadly, I can not write cursive to save my life.

I was named after a movie, “Three for Jamie Dawn.” Mom said the film sucked (okay, maybe she said “lousy”) but she loved the name.

I was named Janet Louse after two girls who babysat my sisters and me. I love that I’m named after two girlfriends!
