Maryland. They came really close, and now we have a model for how to disarm the Catholic fanatics, work across the aisles, and use Gubernatorial influence.

My guess is it will be some state no one expects, like Missouri or Nebraska. This will only further shame California, much to my delight.

You’re delighted in California being shamed? What’s up with that?

Florida just legalized gay adoption (last state to do so), so I’m sure in twenty or thirty years, they’ll follow thru with gay marriage. LOL

Washington State! A bill was introduced in the state Senate and Legislature last session. Will probably be introduced in the next.

I would like it to be NJ…but with that “land mass” Christy in the way, it still can take some time.

Well, I can tell you who will probably be last….regrettably, my home state of Wyoming. For a place full of gay folks, those who are NOT gay are scared s**tless by us! And gays can get divorced here, but not married; WY only recognizes gay marriages performed elsewhere if they are being dissolved. Go figure….but I will NOT leave, only conitinue to agitate and educate!

California, by court. Then Maine in 2012, by referendum. Then Washington or Oregon. Maryland will probably go to civil unions, following Rhode Island’s lead. New Jersey, Hawaii, Rhode Island and Illinois need time to marinate in civil unions like NH and Vermont did before they’ll be willing to upgrade to marriage.
Nevada and Minnesota have good potential, but the people in Minn. have to turn down a referendum to ban gay marriage first.
