regarding the tea party
they came out of no where
and then they were all we saw or heard about on main stream media.
there was no one person in charge who was the organizer, and there was no clear message for what their mission statement was. They were bizarre.
Their largest group rally had 7,000 who attend, but mostly their numbers were in the hundreds, if that high during their rallies.
When the group of union supporters rallied in Wisconsin recently, they hit 10,000, then 25,000, then over one hundred thousand attendees protesting. Also, they were out there in the cold and for weeks. They had many speakers who were clear for their protest and we understood what their message was.
The main stream media coverage for both these groups has been over whelming slanted for such a small group of people.
Karl Rove has got to behind this make believe group who came out of no where.
He did the same when George Bush was running against Ann Richards for the Texas Governor seat. Then, the Bush campaign (headed by karl) placed fliers on car windshields outside churches, two weeks before the election. These fliers said Ann Richards was a lesbian. George Bush won, which was unbelievable. Ann Richards was LOVED by Texans. Their excuse, on political talk shows, how George won, was because of their “smear campaign”.
I don’t believe this. I believe that the voting machines were rigged to make George win. This happened again in 2000 in the presidential election and in 2004.
This tea party is make believe. And when they rig the voting machines at next election, this will be their excuse as to how republican long shots could possibly have won. The Republicans will say it was due to the “Tea Party”
We need honest machines, paper ballets. Honest Elections. We need this more than we need a balanced budget right now.

Good point. GOP in TN is passing laws to outlaw the paper ballot even as we speak. I don’t know how that got passed in the first place, but most all of TN has electronic machines. (In fact, a couple of years ago when they had one of those marriage ammendments on the ballot I tried repeatedly to vote for gay marriage and it kept changing my vote right in front of my eyes. I was about to yell out as to alarm the voting public, “Hey, this crumby thing is changing my vote!” when it finally “took”. Wonder how many others that happened to? Now I take a recording device with me to vote…) O paper ballot, we hardly knew Ye….

The Tea Party was truly “created” thru messaging and funding by the Koch Brothers. You really need to watch the documentary The Billionaires Tea Party. It shows how the middle/lower class that is fearful and less educated (in general) are fighting against their own best interests…AND I LOVE IT!!

If Gay Judges cannot vote on Gay issues then Straight judges cannot vote on Straight issues. I think it’s a fair trade. Gay judges will be in demand and we will have a rush of Gay students entering law school. I don’t see how this could be bad.

Yup, it’s like a game of move the cheese. When we attempt to win the arguments based on logic & reason, they just…move the cheese.

The teabaggers are being used by the monied class in this country to distract from the fact that there’s a fire sale on everything we taxpayers own. The monied class have already bought our govt, now they’ve fixed on acquiring all that their eyes can see. Watch out, cos if it ain’t nailed down, it’s gonna be bought for a fraction of what it cost to build it. We. Are. Hosed.

Watch as the doomsayers’ messages about the end of our democratic republic are ignored. The New World Order supplants our govt. Our dollar is devalued to the point of worthlessness and then the one-world currency people will step in.
Or listen as the teabaggers obsess over Obama’s “unnatural” birth certificate, take magnifying glasses to it, pick it apart, and wail endlessly about it.
