YES! My sister and two of my nieces are teachers – they rock! All of the people I know who teach put up with a lot of issues that prevent education from being as good as it could be -and it’s not because they get tenure or pensions! It is so frustrating to hear the attacks because you know that the kids hear it too – why don’t these politicians go and sit in on a typical day and see what teachers deal with all of the time?!
Yes, typical schtick from our elected officials, let’s vilify the poor teachers. AS IF. Can’t they come up with something new?
It’s actually not the teachers’ fault that those who run the pension funds played with their money & LOST. So, who makes up those deficits? I swear, all politicians should be rounded up and cast into the pit of Hell!!
