We must be getting old.
My partner and I did visit friends for about two hours…EARLY in the evening. We watched Dick Clark’s Rockin Eve until the wheeled out Dick, propped him in front of the camera and made him read the teleprompter. It was so sad we turned it off.
We were in bed by 11 pm.

I rang in the New Year by staying at home,away from all the drunks driving vehicles out there, eating a fantastic dinner, then awsome chocolate, talking on the phone to my friends, and praying to the Great Goddess of terrible years, that she does not come to visit for 2010! She is not welcome in the Year of the Dragon, let’s get fiery womyn!

A group of us went to our local Irish restaurant for dinner and a toast at 7pm (midnight in Dublin), and then home to watch the ball drop – real partiers!
