Many people don’t know how smart and well-informed I am. They are so busy showing off their own intelligence and awareness that they cannot leave a pause in the conversation for me to interject a factoid or an opinion here and there. I really need to start documenting how many times I just smile and nod as I listen to erroneous summations of news stories or political issues or even events about which I have first-hand knowledge. Most of the time I do not even bother trying to share what I know about the topic at hand. Most people are not good listeners. Wouldn’t it be great if there were actual conversations (not dual monologues) about things and life in general?

THat Im funny when I am being serious. that I am Happy when Im sad or that I’m straight when clearly my girlfriend tells me that is untrue!

It would be nice to know what others think, but my failure to ask leaves me curious. I believe they think that I am shy and they would be correct. I hope that they think that I am a deep thinker and if so they would be on the money. I am passionate,opinionated and fear intimacy and if they see all of these things I am in love.

i am a thinker & fairly quiet … more of an observer than a joiner … so people get the impression that i’m bitchy or moody. in reality, i am intense. i have been burned, rejected, and hurt … but with that intensity comes a wicked sense of humor, honest heart, & a tendency to see the good in people.
i hope the latter qualities stay with me for the rest of my life … and are enriched by growth, wisdom, and a good woman who will bring out the best in me.

That I’m special cause I have 4 special needs adopted children. I’m insane and feel like they are pushing me further each day towards the point of no return. I’m tired but I love them.
