I don’t believe in love at first sight, but I sure believe in Previews of Coming Attractions! In other words, I believe we are sometimes told in advance (intuition, whatever) what is about to happen, before it quite happens. And some of us get a little drunk just on the preview.

I do believe in love at first sight but I also believe that sometimes people mistake lust at first sight for love.

Well, now that I’m a bit older, I will answer with a qualified “yes” -it’s usually more lust than love, a chemical/electrical reaction or communication between you & another person. Laws of attraction, you might say, like magnets? Love may follow at some point, or we ascribe “love” to a feeling that really is base & very primordial. But I no longer believe in love at first sight. It takes a bit longer for real love to blossom & flourish. It’s a myth.

Romantic love? No. I think it takes knowing the person deeply for romantic love to occur. Otherwise, it’s infatuation. But, love for a child? Yes.

I believe in Lust at first sight. I don’t believe in soul mates, unless you’re willing to admid with 7 billion people around, everyone has at least 10,000 possible soulmates.

i agree with the “lust” at first sight opinion…and i think that there might be more than just one soulmate for everyone, depending on how open you are to meeting that person. LOVE is a deeper connection that may or may not be present at first…hard to describe, but wonderful to feel.
