They are obsolete. They were for radios that had tubes. For those of you that don’t know what a “tube” is; The tubes in the radio looked kind of like a light bulb. Tubes were made obsolete by the invention of the transistor. My mom’s tube radio was still cranking out the tunes well into the 70’s. Hers was electric.

My gal pal says that “B” size batteries are for military use only… now she says I’m going get put on some list for “telling” this. Oh well, what’s life without a little risk?

I don’t know. It’s a puzzler right up there with, how does a dust ball know where to hide? “Quick you guys….roll under here!”
And, how come a fly can find, from the great outdoors, the tiniest hole in a screen to get into a house, but cannot find the same one to get out? Such are the questions.
I suppose it’s good to go A, AA, AAA, skip right over B and go to C and D. That’s what I did in school.

“B” size batteries are for the best, the brightest, the Brahmans, if you will – the 1%. The 99% don’t even know they exist. Maybe the Freemasons know about them, but not the rest of us. And, no, this is not just another conspiracy theory. Really. Ask Bill Maher or Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert. I bet Rachel Maddow knows. She knows everything.

There are no “B” size batteries because bees flap their wings fast enough that they don’t need batteries.

If manufacturers wrote B before Batteries, someone would think they were stuttering.

Once used only in tube type vibrators, The B battery has seen its days of usefulness fade away. Only your great grandma may still have a B-type vibrator in her nightstand….shocking ehh? Things are better now for us women. Electric and dry cell batteries can rock your world! But while you enjoy yourself…..pause to thank your great granny for being a pioneer and paving the way for your Hitachi Magic Wand or your Eroscillator! Oh Granny!!!!!

There are no “B” size batteries, for when charged enough, the “B” ‘word’, is most “politically incorrect”!!! Kinda’ like “bite-me-size” candies…

B batteries were originally used for hearing aids. Hoever, when the batteries died and the people needed new ones and they were asked what size they wanted they kept on saying “Eh?”. So they ended up with A batteries. The American’s With Disabilities Act was the death of the B battery. An interesting side note: AA batteries are used for breathalyzers and AAA for emergency breakdown hazard lights.

‘B’ is also used in birth control and we all know what’s happening to that!

When posed with the question “to B or not to B”, the inventor of the battery in question, under extreme angst over a recent heartbreak and a four on the enneagram, chose not to B and opted to C instead.
