I would teach Intentionality, Vibration & Manifestation! Yes, I know that’s not on the curriculum yet, but that’s what I would each.

I’d like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony, but seeing as I can barely carry a tune I would teach courtesy and respect. Not Miss Manners courtesy but simple courtesy like holding the door open for the person behind you (or in front of you), saying thank you when you appreciate something no matter how trivial, and most importantly, sharing a smile and a kind word with everyone you meet, even during trying moments. People don’t often realize the power they have to change lives and save lives with a smile and a kind word.

I would teach non-verbal communication and body language in personal relationships. If you want to know how someone truly thinks and feels…”listen” to their expressions and mechanics…not their words. More is said in “not saying” than in a 1,000 words. Confucious. or someone other guy.

I’d teach people how to do research–how to be a student of the world forever.
But enough about me. Is Kate going to teach stand-up? This seems like a lucrative proposition. Everyone is giving standup comedy a try. Think about it–a way to grow that nest egg.

If I was a teacher I would teach Aceptance and I would begine by saying that it is okay to be different and that there is nothing wrong with being a lesbian or gay. I would teach that no matter what your sexual orientation is you are still. Everyday is a new day with many new things to learn and to teach. I am tired of hearing you can’t do that because your gay or you can’t tell me what do do because you do not have enough life experience. I would try to teach people many different things if I was a teacher. I have been made fun of my whole life because i was different. I want people to learn how to accept others. I am 21, I work with people that have many different types of disabilities and I want people to start excepting the individuals I support for who they are not what they use to get them selves from point A to point B.

I do teach. I teach social work and gender studies. I wouldn’t trade what I do for anything in the world. I suspect I learn more from my students then they learn from me. Teaching is joyful

Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that”

I’d love to teach History and English lit. Those subjects always intrigue me. I had two great Highschool teachers and 2 awesome college professors whe really made history and english lit entertaining, enjoyable, and leaving me wanting to learn more.

I’d teach self teaching!
We are thought to learn from books, from the past, from other’s which is all great, but rarely to learn from ourselves. I’d teach kids to listen, write, draw, DO, BE and appreciate THAT, these moments and the memories they become, and learn from it, so that when (as they are bound to be one day) they are asked, ‘what makes you happy?’ they can answer without thinking, when they can’t find a friend to ask for advise they can turn to their inner teacher and remember what they’ve done in the past and what had come out of it, use that to inform their NOW.
I would teach whistling!
Something I’ve always wanted to learn, to give voice to my inner vagabond 🙂 I’d take 4 credit of that in college…

I would teach the two things I wish were offered at my all girl (lesbian) college, but were not:
1) flirting: G_d only knows I could have used flirting 101 in college & even now. What got you laid at my school was how militant you were on x or y queer issue or social justice cause. Try that in the real world ” hey, my name is Ariel, how do you feel about the current portrayals of lesbianism in the entreatment industry? ”
2) comedic timing, joke telling. If 1 failed, there would always be 2.

I love to teach and there are so many important topics but I think it’s time to bring back Etiquette. And maybe how to turn negative energy into positive energy. Not to turn everyone into a pretend Pollyanna, but just to bring back some respect, manners, kindness and a bit of class back so it doesn’t all become part of a history lesson.

I would teach ART. Not only to express ourselves but how to view the world with an artist eye . . . and to teach that VOLUPTUOUS is the way to go! The world is a different place through the artist. We create our own environment.

I would teach a class on Pop-Culture Brainwashing, and break down all the myriad ways pop culture lies to us & gets us to behave in ways that are counter-productive to our personal progress. I’d start with pop music, just listen to some of the lyrics (not all, mind you) which, in my mind, perpetuates myths about love & interpersonal/intimate relationships. I’d also employ interpretive dance! LOL!
