K8 Asks
March 28, 2011 @ 10:14 pm
When are you going to do some shows in Australia?? You would enjoy the insanity of the land downunder! And what do you think of a Bachmann/Palin ticket-shudder…
March 28, 2011 @ 10:35 pm
What do you like to do to “wind down” after a show?
March 29, 2011 @ 5:54 am
Have you read Mourning Diary by Roland Barthes? If so, what did you think?
March 29, 2011 @ 1:49 pm
How do you balance family life and travel? I have a personal interest in your answer since I’d like to travel more (singer, one-woman show), and I want to find a way to do this while raising my children…
March 29, 2011 @ 10:12 pm
Hi Kate. Thanks for asking. That ticket is a COMEDY GIFT – BUT ONE CAN ALWAYS RE-GIFT.
March 29, 2011 @ 10:13 pm
Hi Jewell. Great question. LOVE TO MEET AUDIENCE AFTER THE SHOW. THEN MY WIND DOWN USUALLY INVOLVES PACKING FOR THE NEXT DAY. IN PTOWN AFTER A SHOW – IT’S ALL ABOUT RIDING THE BIKE HOME.

What’s the funniest thing you ever wrote?
April 2, 2011 @ 5:55 am
Does your English-teaching background still help you in crafting, editing and refining your routines?
April 2, 2011 @ 9:38 pm
From one b-girl to another…boxer shorts or briefs ? 😛
April 5, 2011 @ 12:13 am
For Making Space: CHILDREN? OH MY? UNLESS THEY’RE ALL IN THEIR THIRTIES. . .
THE GREAT THING ABOUT LESBIANS IS WE’RE EXPERT AT LOGISTICS –
YOU’LL HAVE SOME BALANCING CHALLENGES BUT IT CAN BE DONE –
YOU NEED TO COMMUNICATE CLEARLY ABOUT YOUR COMINGS AND GOINGS
SO EVERYONE IS UP TO SPEED.
THANKS FOR TAKING ON THE CHALLENGE.
April 5, 2011 @ 12:13 am
For GLiberation: I HAVE NOT BUT THANKS FOR THE RECOMMEND.
April 5, 2011 @ 12:14 am
For Patricia: I WAS THERE BUT WORKING –
LOVED THAT YANI TSENG, BUT WAS HAPPY FOR STACY LEWIS.
WHAT I’M SAD I MISSED WAS THE ROUND BY THE LPGA SENIORS –
HEARD THEY WERE AMAZING.
April 5, 2011 @ 12:15 am
For you RoughAcres: MY 2011 TAX CHECKS. NO WAIT THAT WAS SAD.
TOUGH QUESTION. ONE OF MY FAVS IS: SHE WOULDN’T SAY LESBIAN IF HER MOUTH WAS FULL OF ONE.
April 5, 2011 @ 12:15 am
Elizabeth: IT DOES HELP FOR THEMATIC ORGANIZING, BUT THE PERFORMATIVE ASPECTS OF TEACHING ARE WHAT GENERALLY POLISH ANYTHING I’VE WRITTEN. IF YOU CAN KEEP 11TH AND 12TH GRADERS IN UPSTATE NY INTERESTED ON THE FIRST GASPINGLY GORGEOUS DAY OF SPRING – YOU COULD PROBABLY DO STANDUP.
April 7, 2011 @ 12:41 am
I’ve kept college freshmen interested in English composition on gorgeous days, but can only marvel at someone who can do standup AND write “gaspingly gorgeous day of spring.” Nicely done!
April 5, 2011 @ 12:16 am
Michele: DO THONGS COUNT?
April 5, 2011 @ 4:47 am
…they do, and now I’m embarrassed. you never answer anything I send and this one you answer ! lol.
