A nice long dress, preferably trimmed with real fur, a pretty hat, lots of your best jewelry, ruby slippers. And try to look like you care about the poor in the world, animal rights, and equality for all people.

Our office takes Halloween pretty seriously, and we’ve had some amazing costumes…this year, I think I’m going to dip into the pop culture font and turn up as Sue Sylvester because there’s FINALLY a woman pop icon who’s as tall as I am.

blinders are a must.Pin to your robe- a photo of Sylvia Pagoli, a list of where the pedophile priests were sent to for protection and also lots of candy to lure the children. You so inspire….

As a pagan, will not be wearing a whole lot – but at my age, that’s probably scarier than most costumes!

You would loooove Carnival in Venice, where many people do just that! Dressing up as nuns/popes/cardinals is quite the thing, my dear!

Next time you are in Rome, drop in to GAMMARELLI, outfitters to the pope and ecclesiasticals in general. Pick up some authentic papal Red Sox!! And shiny shoes with silver buckles! At the very least, you’ll find some interesting things with tassels that may tickle your fancy. Or someone else’s…

Did anyone suggest an red armband yet with a black spiderish thing on it? Or a hoop skirt fitting how many choirpersons underneath, solving that riddle: “How many choirpersons can fit under the robe of a clergy?” Religionism and heterosexism is a nasty cocktail that is alive and sick for that guy!

Hold on, let me give Rich Iott a call, see if that uniform he has is available. You could wear that underneath. Sort of like “garments,” to mix religious metaphors.
Happy Halloween to you and yours!
