I would probably be ok at first, but I think after about 3-4 days, I’d start to wonder what my friends have been up to. It’s kind of sad to think that I only get the updates via Facebook.
A whole week? No internet activity of any kind? I can’t even wrap my head around that. What I HAVE been wrapping my head around lately is the idea of a “Facebook Free” day: a day a growing number of us agree to abstain from our favorite online community. I’ve tried to go a whole day w/o logging in, but then– just like when I was a kid– the sense that I might be missing something grips me (a day-brightening quip from Ms. Clinton, for example). But if A WHOLE LOT OF US were down with this plan, it might be easier to stick with.
I CAN think about what would happen in light of this bite-sized variation of the posed question: I think that day would be palpably more productive.
